STC2002

High Speed Servo Toolholder

The PushCorp ST2002 High Speed Servo Tool Changer is an ideal solution for your fully automated workcell.  The 20,000 rpm STC2002 has a powerful 2 horsepower (1.5 kW) Servo Motor and integral Collet clamping to give you the muscle, speed control, and holding torque to perform sanding, grinding, drilling and routing operations with ease.   The small size and low weight make this unit ideal for robotic applications.

The Collet accepts a .250 inch (6.4mm) diameter Tool Shaft.  Your custom Tool Shafts make it possible to utilize a wide range of abrasive disks, wheels, drill bits and router bits.  The Collet mechanism has ample holding torque while, at the same time, providing a fast-acting release for rapid tool changes.

The STC2002 is designed to mount on the PushCorp AFD1000/70 Series Compliant Force Devices.  The STC2002 may also be mounted directly to the robot with no compliant device, providing a low cost machining center with a large work volume.
