Miller Coolmate

PushCorp motors are designed to operate below an internal temperature of 176°F (80°C), with the optimal running temperature between 122-140°F (50-60°C). The motor is cooled through cooling channels in the motor housing that surround the motor stator that allow for the efficient rejection of heat via coolant to a reservoir housed within a closed-loop system. The closed-loop cooling system requires a separate cooling unit per spindle within the system. Typical cooling units are comprised of a pump, liquid to air heat exchange, reservoir, and a fan. In the case of a closed-loop system, all of the coolant is recirculated in the system, and no continuous supply of discharge is required. All PushCorp servo spindles use the Miller Coolmate 3, with the exception of the STC1515, 1015, SM0612, and STC0612-BT40. These products use the Miller Coolmate 4.
