The STC2002 accepts an ISO20 tapered toolholder. PushCorp has a wide variety of off the shelf tool holders that customers can select from. The STC2002 comes standard with a quick-change functionality; simply supply 90 PSI to drop off a toolholder, then release the air pressure to pick up a new one with a different abrasive. The STC2002 comes standard with a tool present sensor. When a tool is gripped properly in the spindle, an output will turn on and stay on until the tool is released.
The Kollmorgen AKD2G amplifier powers the servo spindle, as well as provides analog speed control and digital I/O.
